Ukraine’s intelligence service SBU states that it has arrested a person suspected of planning an assassination attempt on President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
According to the SBU, the woman must have collected intelligence, exact times and places, about one of the president’s visits to the Mykolaiv region with the aim of enabling an air strike against Zelenskyi.
The suspect must have been caught “in the act” when he was about to hand over the information to the Russians. The SBU writes that the woman has been detained and that she risks up to 12 years in prison.
